The death is announced of George Chewiugs, of Glenulg estate, who introduced Che wings fescue, widely known as the ideal grass for sports grounds and high country, where less hardy grasses fail. The deceased was regarded as a high authority on fanning, anil took an active part in local polities, states aii Invercargill press Association message. .
