Lead—£39 os and £37 2s 6d. Spelter—£3s 3s 9d and £35 3s 9d. Tin—£2ss 15s jind £258 17s 6d. Silver—Standard, 33'Jd per ounce; fine 353 d per ounce. At the wool sales 969 S bales were offered, and a moderate selection of crossbred sold readily, prices. being steady. Merinos were in demand, but the market was quieter and prices were rather easier. Medium scoureds were frequently bought in and slipes sold -rregularly.

Wheat cargoes finned by sixpence to a shilling on strong Argentine reports. Parcels were in good demand at an advance of from sixpence to a shilling. Liverpool futures are quoted as follows: December sellers 12s 7sd Marc-h 12s lOd, May 12s 9fd. ’
