CHRISTMAS FAIR.

The .Christmas bazaar and fair which is to he conducted in the Kaponga Town Hall on Thursday and Friday of ihis week under the auspices of the Anglican Ladies’ Guild, will afford attvacuous which, should prove a welcome addition to this season’s festivities in the district. During the afternoon and evenings of both days a variety of goods are to he oflered from numerous stalls on terms which should secure much patronage. On Thursday evening a programme ol selected concert items is promised by a talented party from Eltluun, where its members aie'favourably known, while on Friday afternoon the advent of Father .Christmas will invest the fair with the time honoured Christmas atmosphere, which will be keenly appreciated by young and old participants. Months of work have been devoted by the ladies of the guild in preparation for the fair, and it is to" be hoped that a worthy public response will reward their efforts,
