A BUMPER HARVEST.

AUSTRALIAN WHEAT YIELD. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. Received Dec. 9, 11.15 a.m. SYDNEY, Dec. 9. After an extended tour of the State’s wheat area, the Daily Telegraph’s agricultural editor says that should nothing untoward in the way of weather intervene during the next three or four weeks -a bumper harvest is assured. A record in the aggregate quantity cannot be looked for, but an absolute record in the yield per acre is a distinct possibility. The previous record was 1.7.8 bushels per acre. The editor forecasts an 18 bushel harvest and the total yield as well over fifty million bushels.
