The occupational section of the 1921 census reveals that women have invaded many occupations pieviously monopolised by men. There, are 149 women undertakers, 78 bookmakers, 11 trainers and jockeys, •jUO bargees, 23 chimney sweeps, 19 brewers, 753 .raiLwav porters, 309 stationmasters, 217 farm bailiffs, atso plumbers, riveters and gunsmiths.— cbm Cables.
