TARANAKI v. WELLINGTONThe Taranaki team to play Wellington on December 13 has been selected as follow's: A. G. Wallace and C. J. Dickie (Waverley), C. B. Webster, J. (J. Nicholson, and E. G. Foden (New Plymouth), and I. Grant (Inglewood). During the past few days several trial matches have been played to ascertain w’ho should occupy the last two paces in the Taranaki team. These resulted as follows: Foden beat Grant 6-3, 6-2; B. Wilson beat Dr. Slater 6-2, 8-6; and Grant beat Wilson 4-6. 6-3, 11-9. PARK CLUB. Several matches in the Park Club’s singles handicaps have been decided. There are still a number to be played in the first round, and the committee desire that these be decided up to scheduled time, otherwise they will he scratched.
