POST-SESSIONAL ADDRESS.
(To the Editor.) Sir,—.The repeated requests for a post-sessional address having failed to bring, any. response from Mr. Corrigan, the .situation, was generally accepted in the, belief that greater and more urgent matters we re at present occupying his time than those of polities. We must, however, seek a further cause, because such belief has been completely shattered by the report in. a New Plymouth paper that Mr. Corrigan, in company with, Messrs. Veitch, Masters and Smith had adclressed a meeting of Li beral - supporters in that town. Most of us were under the impression' that Mr. Corrigan’s political slogan . was “Country before party.” hut in view of the foregoing considerable explanation is required to convince us that on this occasion he has not placed party before even his electorate'. Will Mr. Corrigan supply the explanation? Thanking vou m anticipation.—l am, etc., E. G A WITH.
