(by TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION. WELLINGTON, Dec. o. In reply to a complaint that the Association of Native School Teachers have not participated in the recent increases in salary, the Minister for Education (tlie Hon. C. J. Parr) says this is a mistake. They share with the rest.

In. reply to the claim, that head teachers have as much right to increases as others, Mr. Parr points out that the recent extra vote was expressly to help the lower paid grades, and even yet, if the department has little to spare, it may he able to consider the head teahers.
