FORGED WILL.

MILLION DOLLAR LEGACY. ADVENTURESS SENT TO PRISON. BY CABLE--PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT PARIS, Nov. 26. The romance of a million dollar legacy ended in the supposed heiress being sentenced to a year’s imprisonment. She is Madame Leotardi, of world-wide notoriety as the heiress who received 1,000,000 dollars from Miss Fair Heller, of Boston, bn the condition that she took charge of the latter’s menagerie of wild beasts. On the strength of the supposed legacy Madame Leotardi borrowed 100,000 francs from Parisian business people. When the loan was not repaid authorities started an enquiry, which lasted two years and extended over Europe, America 'and Japan. As Miss Heller could not be traced the will was pronounced to be a forgery, and Madame Leotardi was imprisoned.
