DEATH OF THE SIRDAR.
THREE ARRESTS MADE. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT CAIRO, Nov. 27. The British troops have arrested three prominent Zqghlulists for complicity in murder] plots. , A Khartoum communique reports that the general situation in the Sudan is quiet. King Fuad gave instructions that the Egyptian army,in the Sudan should obey the orders of the acting-Gpvernor-General and withdraw. This accords with the requirement laid down in the British note. LEAGUE' WILL NOT INTERVENE. I GENEVA, Nov. 26. The League secretariat has received the Egyptian Parliament’s protest against the British action It is generally thought that the League will not intervene, primarily because it is not a Government protest. MISSING SAILORS TRACED. . CAIRO, Nov. 26. s The two bluejackets who were reported yesterday as missing from the warship Valiant are now reported to have been seen at Malta. Their arrest has been ordered.
