THREE ACQUITTALS.
CHRISTCHURCH SUPREME COURT (BY TKLKGHAPH —PRKSB ASSOCIATION. CHRISTCHURCH, Nov. 17. The criminal sessions of the Supreme Court opened this morning, when the judge commented on the serious nature of several charges, including alleged attempted murder against John Jeffreys. Gertrude Grace Bell was acquitted on a charge of unlawfully using an instrument on a girl. George Albert Knight and Henriette Elena Jinight were acquitted on a charge of making a false statement to the registrar of births at Rangiora.
