Four men, 'diaries Bernard .Miller, Frederick McKinley, John Rathiay Dunlop and Arthur Swain, were charged in the • Supreme Court to-day, before Mr Justice MacGregor, on three counts of breaking and entering the sheds of the Napier Harbour Board at Port Aliuriri, and stealing one quarter cask of whisky, valued at ill 15. The alienee was alleged to have been committed on October 18, 1923. This was the third trial. In the two others at Napie.r the jury disagreed. The evidence was similar to> that previously adduced, and after three ami three-quarter hours’ retirement, the jury gave a verdict of guilty of receiving only. Sentence was deferred till to-morrow morning..
