WAR IN CHINA.
Wu PEI FU NOT DONE WITH. BY CABLE-PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT PEKING, Nov. 10. Wu Pei Fu, interviewed at Chefoo, aboard a transport, affirmed confidence in his ultimate victory. He said 40,000 of his troops at Hankow and more at Nanking awaited his instructions. He was how en route, accompanied ■'by four transports and three warships, for a southern destination —possibly Shanghai —to reassemble his forces. He declared that he would return to Peking at the head of a punitive expedition against Feng Yu Hsiang and Li Sum Ling. \ Wu Pei Fu’s diplomatic adviser stated that Chih Sie Hyuan, Sun Chuang Fang and Hsiang Yau Nan, and Hupeh respectively, had given assurances to Wu Pei Fu of their full support. Feng Yu Hsiang and Chang Tso Lin have arrived at Tientsin for a conference. They are accompanied by a bodyguard of several thousand heavilya<rmed troops.
