THE PURSER CASE. APPEALS DISMISSED. HEROIC CANNOT RACE. BY CABLE—PEESS ASSOCIATION—COPYEIGHT _ MELBOURNE, Oct. 27. The Y.R..C. committee heard the appeals m the Purser case to-day. The appeals were dismissed and the' stewards’ decision confirmed Hei oic cannot now run in the Derby or the Melbourne Cup.
