Ihe city was denuded of troops last night, except the guards surrounding the Presidential Palace and a small party of telegraph operators. A Tientsin message states Wu Pieif, who arrived at Tientsin, yesterday, established temporary headquarters in the city, and issued a message to the Diplomatic Corps, denouncing Feng Yuh Siang as a traitor and an ingrate, and asserting that Tso o Kuu .was specially instructed by Wu to take steps to cope with the situation. I herefore he is assembling an army of I(X),000 to eliminate Peng and restore the situation.. Wu holds the railway Joking as ar as Dofa, and states that luang Su and the Shantungites are coming ur> via Tsinauff Hupesites by rail from Honkow. The Shanwaikwan front at present is being held on the defensive.
