TRAFALGAR DAY. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT (Received Oct. 22, 11.25 a.m.) LONDON, Oct. 21. Trafalgar Day was celebrated, with the usual ceremonies. Nelson’s Column was decorated with beautiful wreaths from the Dominions, and the Marchioness of Linlithgow placed a wreath on Nelson’s tomb in the crypt .at St. Paul’s, where a special service was held at noon.—Renter. THE GERMAN LOAN. LONDON, Oct. 21. > Stock Exchange dealings in the German loan began on the basis of 2) premium, and touched 4 per cent. They, are now, at 3f per cent premium. —Reuter. RIOTING OYER. MANILA, Oct. 21. The rioting is apparently over, and the Chinese shops are beginning to reopen. What promised to be serious yesterday was due to the publication of a canard that 80 Filipinos had been slain at Shanghai. It was averted by a prompt denial from the American Consul at Shanghai, latere have been no further casualties.—-Reuter.
