ALL BLACKS.

THE LANCASHIRE MATCH. PLAYED TO-DAY. (By “Spectator.”) Two more English county matches remain this week—Lancashire to-dav and Cumberland on Saturday—before the team has the first real test of the tour, against Ireland. -Lancashire has turned out many good players, and last year was one of the strong northern counties. While all New Zealand will expect a win to-day, it is quite on the cards they may be extended, but the message that came from a' sporting paper this week that the team had played themselves right into form and were consistently showing those match winning tactics which mark a team of champions gives great confidence to their supporters. Tomorrow’s cable will he looked for with equal interest to that shown after all their fixtures, and the hope felt that all their best men will be*fit and well for the great struggles in front of them.
