REFORM PARTY.
MEETING OF DELEGATES AT AVAVERLEY. The president and vice-presidents of 3a ch local branch of the Reform League throughout the Patea electorate assembled at Waverley on Friday night, and formed an executive to look after the interests of the branches of the league and the party in the elec;orate. There were 20 present. Mr J. B. Murdoch was elected president and Messrs A. Hunter ana T. Alexander vice-presidents of the executive. It was decided to establish headquarters at Ha we ra„ and November 28 vas fixed as the date for holding a ■’onference at Waverlev of delegates from every portion of the electorate to select the Reform candidate. A vote of appreciation was passed to Mr A. E. Symes, the retiring president of the executive, and his officers for the work done while on the executive. The new executive is as follows (with power to add): President, vicepresidents, and Messrs C. E. Billinghurst, G. F. Moore, Moore Hunter, H. Grove, E. Parsons. F. “Johnston, AY. H. AVatkirs, C, R. Honeyfield. Dr. Simmons. D. S. Richardson. L. C. Bell. C. Tonks, H. A. Fovster, and J. Winks.
