LONG SERVICE MEDALS. 1 PRESENTATIONS. The good work of two Territorial officers, both of whom saw long service abroad during the war, was recognisec. mst night, when at the Defence Hah ong service medals were presented to them. There were on" parade B Coy. Territorials and the local section of the so, 2 Company Mounted Rifles. The officers on parade were Lieut.-Colonel Cox, Captain Andrew, V.C., adjntanof the regiment, Lieutenants Smart and Osborne. The recipients of the medals were Rev. C. l'\ Bush-King, Chaplain Third Class, who. received the medal for long Territorial service (12 ,ears), and New Zealand long and efficient service (16 years), and Captain F. G. Coleman for long and efficient service (20 years). Padre Bush-King served in Egypt, Gallipoli, in France, and on various troopships. Captain Coleman served with the Colonial and Auxiliary Forces, and also had three and a half years’ active service in gvpt and in France.

•The presentations were made by Lieutenant-Colonel Cox, officer commanding the regiment, who complimented both officers on their fine record ol" service, and said that the decorations had been well and truly earned.
