VISIT FROM WEST INDIES TEAM
(BY TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION ) WELLINGTON, Sept. 23. According to advice received by the chairman of the New Zealand Cricket Council, a visit from a, West Indies team will not take place during the coming season, as an M.C.C. team is about to visit the West Indies. In consequence it will be impossible to send a team to New Zealand. The West Indies are prepared to consider a visit to New Zealand in the following season.
