RADICAL CONDEMNS RUSSIA
SOVIET WORSE THAN OZARISM. THE HAGUEI. Aug. 2. Addressing the International AntiMilitarist Congress here on Wednesday Emma Goldman, deported from the United States for her radical activities, asserted that the Soviets were perper-. trating a great lie on the world when they 6tated that the Russian people were free. Miss Goldman insisted that the Bolshevists had built up ai new State as capitalistic and as militaristic as the Russia of the Romanoff's ever was. Telling of her own experiences, she said that the revolutionary anarchists, were tortured and ill-treated in prisons and concentration camps. While capitalism is supreme in Holland, she said, at least there was freedom of propaganda, whereas in Russia only opinion approved by the Government was allowed expression, every other utterance being suppressed.
