THE WEATHER
The Government Meteorologist telegraphed that for the twenty-four hours from 9 a.m. to-day the indications are for northerly winds, moderate to strong and freshening. There is a prospect of fair weather, with increasing haze and cloudiness. The barometer has a falling ' tendency. Sea. and tides moderate.
