Sept. 1. : With a view to attracting greater attention to New Zealand’s dairy produce at Wembley, the New Zealand Control Board organised a novel competition. Every purchaser, of a pound carton of New Zealand butter received , a coupon entitling him to compete at guessing the weight, of one of the. huge cheeses, estimated at about one ton, displayed in the pavilion. Three prizes totalling £IOO are offered. The council has also arranged to auction in the London provision exchange one of these cheeses. It is exported the auction will excite the keenest..competition and prove an excellent advertisement.
