PROSPECTS OF SALVAGING THE
VESSEL. BT OABIiI—PEEBB ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT Received Sept. 3, 10.45 a.m. LONDON, Sept. 2. The salvage officer reports that the Bardic is lying on a rocky bottom and is farly vvell supported. Numbers one, two and three holds are full to sea level, and all the other compartments are leaking slightly, but‘ are under control of the ship’s pumps. The prospects are very fair,’ but are entirely dependent upon the weather. Arrangements are being made for the discharge of sound cargo from the forward shelter deck as soon as possible. ‘—Reuter.
