BID FOR LABOUR SUPPORT BY CABLE—PREBS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT ROME, Aug. 31. At a speech at the unveiling of a war memorial, Signor Mussolini made a bid for Labour support for the following reasons: (1) Fascist trade unionism was better than Red trade unionism, which by class warfare created an abyss between citizens; (2) the Government was solid and would not yield at any price; (3) Fascism allowed the policy of peace with dignity and discipline, from which the workers had everything to gain.
