HAWERA LADIES’ CLUB. The Hawera- Ladies’ Club visited New Plymouth yesterday and played the Waiwakaiho Ladies’ Club on their links. The home team had to- face both a southerly gale and a strong team, and these factors proved too much for them, and they were defeated by 10 games to 6. * Details are as follows: Mi ss Burgess lost to Airs, Nicholson, 1 and 2. ’Miss L.
