LONDON TALLOW MARKET. The Bank of New Zealand, produce department, has received the following advice from its London office under date August 27: Tallow—There is a fair demand. Current quotaions: Good mutton 45s to 46s per ewt, good beef and mixed 45s to 465, gut 36fe 6d to 40s. ihe New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., have received the following cablegram from their London house under date 27th instant: Tallow—We quote present spot values for the following descriptions: Fine mutton 47s per cwt, good beef 465, mixed 40s 3d ; market quiet. Messrs Dalgety and Company. Ltd., lepoit having received the following cablegram from their London house under date of 27th instant: Six hundred and forty-five casks of tallow offered; 300 sold. WANG AN Cl CR ITCHING SALE. Messrs Johnston and Co. report that there was a lair attendance of buyers at the Wanganui cnitchings sale, held yesterday, when approximately 2300 bales were offered. The ma.rket for erutchings showed a distinctly easier tone compared with the Wellington sale of the 21st instant, but, taking into: consideration the heavier condition and quantity of seed showing in the majority of the offering, realisations cannot be said to be unsatisfactory to growers. There was a. good demand for oddments of fleece uool, bellies, pieces, etc., the major portion of these lines being quitted at satislactc.ry figures.
