ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
BOY INJURED WITH GUN. (BY TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION.) WHAKATANE, Aug. 18. A hoy named Theobald, aged lfi years, was wounded with a shotgun yesterday morning at Manawnhe. He was out pig-hunting with his father, when the latter slipped, the gun in his hand going off and peppering his son, who was wounded in both thighs. The hoy had to be brought to Whalcatane hospital. where it was found that his iniuries were not serious.
