RIPPLE DISASTER
(BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION.) DUNEDIN, Aug. 9. R. E. Taylor, a passenger on the Ripple, formerly resided at St. Kilda. He was a member of the local bowling club and was a son of the Rev. Robert Taylor, Methodist minister. GISBORNE, Aug. 9. The description given of the body of the sailor from the Ripple, found on the beach at Flat Point, according .to sailors of the Richardson steamer Awahon, points to it being Andrew Anderson, single, Norwegian, from Wellington.
