WRONG MAN.

MURDER OF GIRL. ' SUSPECT RELEASED. BY CABLE —PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT MELBOURNE, Aug. 6. After exhaustive enquiries the police detained a man in connection with the murder of Irene Tuckerman at Caulfield.

The man was subjected to a lengthy examination, and was then released. The police are now of opinion that the murder was committed under shelter, and after guarding the body for sev_ eral hours the perpetrator removed it to the spot where it was found.
