Mr Hebry Ford’s ardent prohibitionist views are Expressed in an endeavour to . compel his employees throughout the country to abstain from drinking liquors on pain of summary dismissal. Placards conspicuously posted in factories read : “Henceforth it will cost a roan, his job if he has the odour of beer, wine or liquor on his breath, or possesses these intoxicants on his person or in liis home. The eighteenth amendment is part of the fundamental law of the land. It is meant to be enforced, and, as far as this organisation is concerned, it will be enforced to the letter.’’

Prohibtion headquarters here has received a copy pf the placard and declared its gratification at the gradual enlistment of industrialists in the cause of prohibition.
