RECORDED AT SYDNEV. BY CABLE -PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPY EIGHT Received July 25, 10.25 a.m. SYDNEY, July 25, An earthquake shock of considerable intensity, though not so severe as that recorded from the vicinity of Macquarie Island at the end of June, was recorded at Riverview and Syduey observatories at 2.50 yesterday afternoon. The position is calculated to be approximately 270 miles north-west of VAuckland Islands, and about 1150 miles distant from Sydney.—Aus.-N.Z Cable Assn.
