The work of erecting the poles and transmission lines in the borough zone for the Taranaki Electric Power Board is being proceeded with apac-e (says the Argus). The workmen are handling the very heavy and cumbersome poles with great dexterity. It will not be long before the temporary electric power is turned on. The board’s officials have to he complimented on the fact that despite the magnitude of the work, they have grappled so successfully with the intricacy appertaining to such an important undertaking.
