LIBERAL MEMBER PROTESTS. (Bv Telegraph— Special to the Star.) WELLINGTON,' July S. , Tbo ber for Taranaki, speaking to Mr Wilford’s no confidence motion, was naturally critical, and he had a strong grievance against the Government for its alleged neglect of Taranaki. This province, he said, produced more wealth per head than any otherpart of New Zealand, but when any important commission came to New' Zealand Taranaki was excluded from the itinerary. It was carefully neglected by the Government. The French Mission and the most important member of the Imperial overseas delegation did not go to Taranaki. !
