AN IMPORTANT MOVE.
FEDERATION OF DAIRY COMPANIES.
Twelve co-operative companies were represented at a meeting held in the Oddfellows’ Hall, Hawera, to-day, when it was decided, on the motion of -Messsr J. B. Murdoch and T. AY inks, that a federation of factories he set up in South Taranaki for the purpose of watching the interests of the dairying industry in this district. It was also decided to circularise the dairy companies with a view to their appointing delegates to attend a f'ur-tJber-jneeting. Messrs Winks, Murdoch, Corrigan, Buekeridge, Salmon, Lees, and Duiican were also appointed a commit tee to gather information to „ submit to the next meeting.
