PRESESSIONAL ADDRESSES
(To .the Editor.) Sir, —It has become a generally accepted custom- for members of Parliament .to ; give presessional addresses in the main centres of their electorates! This-custom is a’ splendid one, and has been followed, by all the representatives in. Taranaki' with the exception of Mr. Corngari. I expect that this gentleman can scarcely spare the time to give us an address; on his views of the political situation; but still, in fairness to the eiectors, I think that he should reel himself in duty hound to do so. n °f' °ue of his supporters, but still am broadminded enough to acknowledge as the legitimate representative of the Patea electorate, arid as such h© should keep his electorate in. dose touch with the tetrist political deAelopcmerits and their bearing upon the general welfare of the country; Trusting. .Mr. -.Corrigan- - will consider this matter not as a party move, but in the interests of the common weal —-1 am; etc., xx _ , REFORM.
