BATCH OF IMMIGRANTS. (BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION.) AUCKLAND, June 28. The Remuera, with 300 nominated immigrants, including 144 children, •berthed this morning. Those for southern towns leave by train at 7.40 on Sunday night. Other passengers and officers of the Remuera say that the immigrants should prove an asset to the Dominion. On general appearance and behaviour there is every indication of their being equal to any nominated or assisted immigrants brought to New' Zealand. BOY IMMIGRANTS ARRIVE. AUCKLAND, June 28. Twenty-five boys arrived by the Remuera. They are the first of a larger numher being sent- to the Dominion under the scheme- inaugurated bv the sheepowners of the Dominion. ‘ The average ago of the boys is 104 years. All but two are orphaned. They are a fine lot and proceed south to-morrow in take up their quarters at Flock House, near Bulls, where they will undergo agricultural training for twelve months.
