ENGLISH COUNTY MATCHES. LONDON, June 24. The scores at the end of the second day of the county matches were: Surrey declared with nine wickets down for 388. Oxford made 311 (Blaikie 75, Knott 65). Surrey in the second in'nings has lost three wickets for 155 (Snndham 70 not out). Middlesex declared with eight wickets down for 470 (Hearne 116, Dales 69, Haig 68). Lyon failed to increase his overnight score of 219, which is an individual record for the season.
