In the House of Lords, Lord Salisbury, referring to the Muscat incident, said his regret was simply that the action of France had necessitated the publicity which had been given to the fa^t.
Pahis, March 8.
Paris journals maintain that M. Delcasse's statement in reference to the Muscat incident has not been refused. They accuse the Hon. St. John Brodrick, British Under-Secre-tary for the Foreign Office, of quibbling over the affair.
