Fell Overboard.

(Per Press Association.i

Wellington, This day

Miss Ross, who disappeared from the Pukaki yesterday afternoon, was last seen about 3.30, reading in her cabin. About an hour before reaching the Heads a search was made, but no trace of her could be found. There is no reason to suspect suicide. It is supposed that the girl must have fallen overboard. On a coal boac sjke the Pukaki there are very few hands on deck, and her disappearance would readily have passed unnotieed. The deceased was 23 years of age, and a school teacher at Westport. She was taking a trip for the benefit of her health, accompanied by her mother.
