Chapter of Accidents.

Dunedin, Monday. John Pagan, 70 years of age, dropped down dead at Glenomaru, Catlins, yesterday. Thomas Gibson, a blacksmith at Waikikihi, was kicked by a horse on Friday, and died the following day. A man named John Barnes was received into the hospital suffering from severe burns about the arms and legs. He was cleaning out a tank in the engine department of the Waihora, when someone turned on a stream of hot water, and Barnes was severely scalded. He is at present progressing fayorably.
