The worst fears have been realised in the sewer sensation. Late information shows that a party of firemen succeeded in finding the body of Gibson, which was lying face downwards in the shaft, The body was brought to the surface. Further along the shaft the bodies of Stevens and Porter were so tightly locked together that it was impossible to separate them to bring them out. It is also certain that Mr Mossop is a victim of the foul air. The inflow of water stopped the search, but it will be resumed to-day with the assistance of the electric light.
