The troops under Colonel A. G. Hammond have reached Rupdijkstatj at the crest of the Khybey. Pass, which was captured by the rebels in August last. The entries to the fort we?e found to be destroyed, and the water supply stopped. The telegraph wire to Fprt Alimusjid, which also fell into the hands of the enemy, had been cut. The force was engaged in desultory fighting in marching upon Dundikstat.

Athens, Dec. 28, Greece is engaging Austrian cjffieers to reorganise her army, Bhaxghai, Dec. 28. The British fleet has anchored in Port Saylton.
