THE REASON FOR BRITAIN'S ACTION. ANARCHY IN KURDISTAN. (Per Press Association. —Cop;;r;>fht.) Constantinople, August IS. Britain's disinclination to the proposal of the Powers for the evacuation of Greece is based on the conviction that withdrawal by instalments will indefinitely postpone the evacuation of Thessaly by the Turks. The Porte is alarmed at the anarchy existing in Kurdistan, and is mobilising troops in the eastern villayets or territorial districts of Kurdistan.
