AN UNLIKELY STORY
(Special to Standard.) (By Telegraph.) Wellington, This clay. Referring to the bottle picked up at the Kidnappers a "Wellington resident informs the Times that when he was in Scotland some 16 years ago, a vessel named the Mohawk was lost with all 011 board, on a voyage from Quebec to Troon, in Ayrshire. He believes that the message in the bottle was from her crew, in which case it must have been drifting about the ocean nearlv IB years.
