[By Telegraph] [Special to Standard.] Wellington, This day. A large wooden Hour mill, owned by Mr A. W. Toenail, was burned down at Masterton at 3 o'clock this morning. It was valued at £I,OOO. There was no insurance. Mr Bennie, chief engineer of the Brunner, died of heart disease at the hospital this morning. He was only taken ill yesterday. He leaves a wife and family at Roslyn.
