Wellington Supreme Court.
[By Telegraph] [Special to Standard.] Wellington, August 3. The Grand Jury returned true bills against Kirby and" Bassett, against the manager and printer of the New Zealand Times for criminal libel on Kirby, and in all cases on the calendar, except L. J. Donnelly, for stealing from the person. William Welsh alias Harry Tomlinson, was sentenced to 15 months' hard labor, for receiving property knowing it to have been stolen.
