WANGANFI WOMEN DEMAND CONSIDERATION. (By Telkguapu.) [Special to Standard.] Wanganui, July 11. The Women's Political League last night passed the following resolutions unanimously : " That the local member be requested to see that in the Bill dealing with election to local bodies, provision is made for women to sit on the variousboardsaffected by the Bill." " That tho Wanganui Women's Political League desires to express its great re«ret at the Council's action in rejecting the Asiatic Restriction Bill, the C'.D. Act Repeal, and the Divorce Bill, and trusts that in future that body will show greater consideration for the interests and wishes of the people of this colony." It was decided to send the latter resolution to the Speakers of both Houses.
