At the Supreme Court session Gavin M ; In tyre Park pleaded guilty to stealing £2O, money in his possession on Ist February as an officer of the Government. Ilis Honor said it was quite clear if defalcation of this sum had been discovered in time it would have been included in the previous charge at last session. He (His Honor) had taken the whole circumstances into consideration and would have to practically admit that it would be wrong if he subjected prisoner to further punishment. Park" was admitted to probation for nine months, to be concurrent with the previous term of probation.

Sentence.-; at die i i Court Peter Mickleson, hi t ding and forgery, twelve mom 1 \\i i, M-Phee, stealing a bicycle, four months, in addition to a sentence he is now serving : Alfred Ross and T. J. Somers, forging and uttering, three year.-; each ; J. T. Wood, seven charges of theft, two years; August Feterson was acquitted on a charire of stealing liquor from the Empire Hotvl. James Young, alius Saunders, was sentenced to Is months or horse-stealing, and Frederick Kingan ncei\ed a -imilar sentence 011 a like charge.

At the Supreme Court, in the cases of John Wilson and William Jenkins, for housebreaking and theft, the former was sentenced to three months, while the latter was discharged. William Percy, for the larceny of a bicycle, was ordered to pay 4*lo cost of prssecution and enter into his own recognisance for good conduct for six months. Annie Murdoch, for stealing £BO from the person, got three months. Samuel Nathey was found not guilty on a charge of housebreaking and theft. Stephen Barrett, found gutlty of indecent assault, was sentenced to three months' imprisonment.
