Sv!>:.ky, May 20. Captain Richards, of the Karon la, reports that he made every endeavour to get the vessel out of danger, but the /tremendous sea running drove him in shore. The names of those who perished were : Short, chief officer, and Anderson, seaman. Nothing was saved from the vessel, but if the weather moderates there is some chance of saving the cargo or a portion of it.
